General description of the video content:
We begin our journey by looking at a few simple facts about the Boeing 737 aircraft. This will be followed by witnessing how the pilots start both engines and after a relatively short taxi we take off from a brightly lit runway in light drizzle of rain. After takeoff, the pilots (without the aid of any fancy digital display technology) fly the SID procedure and instantaneously from the climb we transfer to the descent phase. In this particular video we have decided to cut out the dull cruise scenes to give you a chance to see the most entertaining parts (at least how we see it) of commercial flying (i.e. takeoff's and landings). Therefore, after landing at our destination airfield we immediately take you from the cockpit of the 737 Classic to the 737-400 EFIS, in order to show you a visual picture outside the flight deck during an ILS landing at London Gatwick airport (please note that in this particular landing, only the outside view will be seen). After a successful touchdown and subsequent taxi to the gate we will once again position you back to the Classic and fly the return leg of our initial outbound trip. Likewise, in this part of the film we have cut out any boring cruise parts and only stick to the cockpit action during TO and LDG. In the absolute final part of this 737 Film we have added an additional bonus landing footage at Milan Malpensa Airport, preceded by a short descent over the alps (just like during the landing at Gatwick we will simply show you the external views from the cockpit).
In total, this film contains: 2 takeoff's and 2 landings in the 737 Classic + 2 visual landings on the 737-400 EFIS added as a bonus.
